Would you like to work in radio, but don’t have the skills or
experience? KCC Live can help. We offer training in radio presenting
and production using the latest software and equipment. From preparing
a demo to interviewing bands we can provide all the help you need.
As a volunteer, you will attend an induction session that highlights our broadcast policy and legal requirements and also introduces other policies such as Health & Safety and Child Protection. There will also be regular meetings, discussions and a training schedule to ensure that you are getting the best out of your experience.
Our training is designed to ensure that all our volunteers reach a level of competence at which they are comfortable fulfiling their role. We understand that everyone learns at a different pace and that some people will be able to set aside a regular time to undergo training, for others it could be more irregular. Whichever way, KCC Live will work with you to ensure you learn at a pace which is suitable for your practical needs.
