We have shown, over the last 5 years, that community radio is an
effective tool for informal learning as well as a valuable tool for
communicating issues which are under-served by mainstream media. There
are many ways that you can get involved with KCC Live (The youth
community radio station for Knowsley) – we hope you’ll be excited by our ideas, and
have some of your own as well.
Being involved with the youth of Knowsley is at the heart of what we at
99.8FM KCC Live do. We’re here as a resource for the community and
all the organisations that form part of it – public, private and
voluntary.
By letting us know about your news and events and by providing guests and
panellists for our programmes.
We’re always happy to take referrals on to our
training and volunteering programmes from agencies working in Knowsley
– and beyond.
You suggest the topic and we can help you produce
creative, exciting radio to help tell Knowsley what you do and what
you care about.
